Leave (10/13/14)

You live your life in such a way,
That no one ever wants to stay.
You grab ahold, you hold on tight,
You're always ready for a fight.
All you want is full control,
To crush the heart and kill the soul.
You don't know truth, you lay the blame,
"It's all you," is what you exclaim.
It takes some time to finally wake,
And realize it was all a mistake.
That you could ever be the one,
When all we should have done was run.
We must rid ourselves of those who deceive,
In the end we all must leave.
