And venture into the light,
Walking in the sunshine,
Not cowering in the night.
I want to breathe in daylight,
The rays of the sun inhaled,
And feel the golden healing,
Then all the darkness exhaled.
I want to be able to feel the warmth,
To take away the chill,
That has invaded my very soul,
And locked up all my will.
I need to run from the shadows,
Ad leave them far behind,
So the happiness I have so long sought,
I will finally be able to find.
